About Rebecca Wolfe Atkinson

Rebecca Wolfe Atkinson has been a professional artist for over 25 years. Raised in the Ozarks, she grew up with a love for horses, animals and wildlife.

" My horses and dogs were my best friends and the main subjects for my drawing and writing. They always made me feel safe and loved. After a near fatal car accident in 1981, I found my true focus in life. My faith in God helped me to overcome paralysis, a broken back, diabetes and kidney failure. I discovered that through my faith and a never quit attitude, I could not only fulfill my dreams but inspire others. Our personal and spiritual growth can come from pain and struggle."
For years Rebecca and her husband Bill have worked with special needs children. Their therapy dogs and horses provide unconditional love and have had a healing effect on the children. This inspired them to dream of a way to touch more lives.

" In the series 'Rudy's Lessons for Young Champions' we used animals to bring important life skills to the children. It is our desire that these books inspire and provide our youth with the necessary skills to achieve their dreams." --Rebecca Wolfe Atkinson

On July 2nd 2000 Rebecca Wolfe Atkinson passed on to heaven. The proceeds from the sale of Rudy's Lessons for Young Champions goes to the Rudy Foundation and the Rebecca Wolfe Atkinson Fund For Diabetes.
